Birthplace: Harlow, Essex ·

Podcast: Staying Relevant

Eight dots in the public record, one pattern: the verifiable facts about Wicks are consistent across sources, while anything touching his private life stays unpublished — the same split visible in Wikipedia (community-maintained biography) and Hits Radio (UK radio broadcaster).

What is Pete Wicks’ real name?

The professional name is Pete Wicks; the full name is Peter James Wicks, and Wikipedia (community-maintained biography) places his birth on 1 November 1988 in Harlow, Essex. He is English, and his public identity has stayed attached to Essex ever since — the surname Wicks appears in headlines, the fuller name mostly in reference entries.

What ethnicity is Pete Wicks?

• Not stated in Wikipedia’s biography (Wikipedia (community-maintained biography))
• Not stated in Hits Radio’s profile (Hits Radio (UK radio broadcaster))
• No separate primary-source statement in the reviewed record (Wikipedia (community-maintained biography); Hits Radio (UK radio broadcaster); The Mirror (UK news outlet))

What this means: the verified part of Pete Wicks is small and stable, and everything that feeds the rumour cycle lives outside it.

How did Pete Wicks make his money?

His public career runs on three streams: reality television, podcasting, and presenting. The best-documented base is The Only Way Is Essex: Hits Radio (UK radio broadcaster) counts 181 episodes from 2015 to his exit after series 29 in 2022. That is a decade-long run in one of British reality TV’s most durable formats, and it remains the anchor of his identity.

Beyond Essex, the CV is a long list of competition formats. Wikipedia’s biography logs Celebrity Island with Bear Grylls (2018), Celebs Go Dating (2019), Celebrity MasterChef (2020), a 2021 run on The Celebrity Circle with Sam Thompson that ended as runners-up, Tipping Point: Lucky Stars (2022), Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins (2022), The Real Full Monty (2023), and The Underdog: Josh Must Win (2024). The pattern is consistent: he shows up, performs, and moves to the next format.

The higher-profile work is Strictly. Hits Radio (UK radio broadcaster) confirmed his place in series 22 on 7 August 2024 and his pairing with professional dancer Jowita Przystał; Wikipedia’s record adds that the run reached the semi-final.

The podcast stream is Staying Relevant, co-hosted with Sam Thompson from 2022 onward, again per Hits Radio (UK radio broadcaster). The Mirror (UK news outlet) now frames him as a television personality and podcast host rather than solely a TOWIE cast member, which matches where his credits have drifted.

Is Pete Wicks a millionaire?

• No verified net worth figure appears in any reviewed source (Hits Radio (UK radio broadcaster); The Mirror (UK news outlet))
• No public earnings data, accounts, or business filings are cited (Hits Radio (UK radio broadcaster); The Mirror (UK news outlet))
• TOWIE and Strictly appearance fees are not disclosed (Hits Radio (UK radio broadcaster); The Mirror (UK news outlet))

The trade-off: a busy TV career is easy to document, but without public accounts or filings, “how much he makes” remains guesswork.

The implication: Wicks’s credits are public, but no reviewed source publishes his ledger. That split is what separates his documented career from the wealth rumours.

Is Pete Wicks in a relationship?

No current partner is confirmed in the reviewed sources. The closest thing to an official pairing is professional: Hits Radio (UK radio broadcaster) lists Jowita as his Strictly partner, which is a show pairing, not a personal status.

Is Pete Wicks married in real life?

• No marriage record appears in the reviewed biographies (Wikipedia (community-maintained biography); Hits Radio (UK radio broadcaster))
• No spouse is named in any sourced article (Wikipedia (community-maintained biography); Hits Radio (UK radio broadcaster); The Mirror (UK news outlet))
• Marital status is simply not part of the public record (Wikipedia (community-maintained biography); Hits Radio (UK radio broadcaster))

Is Pete Wicks with Maura Higgins?

• The search pairing exists, but no reviewed source documents a relationship (Wikipedia (community-maintained biography); Hits Radio (UK radio broadcaster))
• No joint statement, photo, or interview confirms it (The Mirror (UK news outlet))
• Treat the pairing as search-generated, not source-driven (The Mirror (UK news outlet))

Are Pete Wicks and Jowita still together?

• Jowita is documented as his dance partner, not a romantic partner (Hits Radio (UK radio broadcaster))
• No post-Strictly relationship is documented anywhere in the reviewed record (Wikipedia (community-maintained biography))
• Strictly pairings are professional by design (Hits Radio (UK radio broadcaster))

That reporting is specific. The Mirror (UK news outlet) states that Wicks and presenter Olivia Attwood were photographed kissing in March 2026, and its follow-up coverage reports that he set the record straight on the stories directly.

The pattern: “in a relationship” needs a primary statement, not a headline. Until Wicks or a named representative confirms the Attwood reports, the accurate status is “unconfirmed.”

The implication: coverage is not confirmation, and the only sourced claim in Wicks’s relationship file remains The Mirror’s report.

Has Pete Wicks got a child?

No. Based on the reviewed sources, no child or daughter is named anywhere in the documented record. The question appears in search data, but neither Wikipedia’s biography nor Hits Radio’s profile mentions a child.

Who is Pete Wicks’ daughter?

• No daughter is named in any sourced biography (Wikipedia (community-maintained biography); Hits Radio (UK radio broadcaster))
• No photo, birth record, or statement supports the claim (The Mirror (UK news outlet))
• The claim belongs in the unconfirmed column (The Mirror (UK news outlet))

What this means: the honest answer is that no sourced biography names a child, and “unconfirmed” is the correct label until that changes.

Are Joe Wicks and Pete Wicks related?

No documented source connects Pete Wicks, the TOWIE and Strictly personality, to Joe Wicks, the fitness coach known as The Body Coach. They share a surname and both work in the public eye, but Wikipedia’s biography lists no family connection, and no interview or profile in the reviewed record mentions Joe Wicks.

Does Pete Wicks have a brother?

• No brother is mentioned in the reviewed record (Wikipedia (community-maintained biography); Hits Radio (UK radio broadcaster))
• No sibling names appear in his sourced biography (Wikipedia (community-maintained biography))
• The shared surname alone is not evidence of a family tie (Wikipedia (community-maintained biography); Hits Radio (UK radio broadcaster))

The implication: a surname is not a family tree. Until a source connects the two men, the correct answer is “no documented link.”

Does Pete Wicks get on with his mum?

The reviewed sources do not cover this. Neither Wikipedia’s biography nor Hits Radio’s profile names his mother, quotes her, or describes the relationship.

Does Pete Wicks have a mum?

• His mother is not named in the reviewed sources (Wikipedia (community-maintained biography); Hits Radio (UK radio broadcaster))
• No interview excerpts about her appear in the provided record (The Mirror (UK news outlet))
• This is a coverage gap, not a statement about the relationship (Wikipedia (community-maintained biography); Hits Radio (UK radio broadcaster))

What this means: absence of coverage is not evidence of estrangement — the documented record simply doesn’t reach Wicks’s private family life.

Timeline: the documented record

The verifiable version of Pete Wicks’s life fits on one screen; the speculative version fills forums. Here is the sourced timeline:

• 1 November 1988 — born Peter James Wicks in Harlow, Essex (Wikipedia (community-maintained biography))
• 2015 — joins the cast of The Only Way Is Essex (Hits Radio (UK radio broadcaster))
• 2022 — leaves TOWIE after series 29, with 181 episodes to his name (Hits Radio (UK radio broadcaster))
• 7 August 2024 — announced for Strictly Come Dancing series 22 (Hits Radio (UK radio broadcaster))
• 2024 — reaches the Strictly semi-final with Jowita (Wikipedia (community-maintained biography))
• 2025 — presenter credit for Pete Wicks: For Dogs’ Sake (Wikipedia (community-maintained biography))
• March 2026 — The Mirror reports photos with Olivia Attwood (The Mirror (UK news outlet))

The pattern: every dated milestone comes from an editorial or database source, while personal-life claims arrive without dates and without documents.

Confirmed vs. still unconfirmed

The line between the two columns is the whole story of Pete Wicks coverage. On one side sits the documented record; on the other, everything the search results keep asking.

Confirmed by the documented record

• Full name Peter James Wicks, born 1 November 1988 in Harlow, Essex (Wikipedia (community-maintained biography))
• 181 TOWIE episodes, exit after series 29 in 2022 (Hits Radio (UK radio broadcaster))
• Strictly series 22 with partner Jowita (Hits Radio (UK radio broadcaster))
• Staying Relevant podcast co-hosted with Sam Thompson (Hits Radio (UK radio broadcaster))
• Presenter credit for Pete Wicks: For Dogs’ Sake (2025) (Wikipedia (community-maintained biography))

Still unconfirmed

• Current relationship status
• Whether Pete Wicks has a child or daughter
• Net worth and millionaire claims
• Ethnicity
• His relationship with his mother
• Any family link to Joe Wicks or a brother

The calibration here is deliberate: the unconfirmed list is longer than the confirmed list, because the sources that exist are narrower than the curiosity they generate.

What the sources say

Three statements anchor the public record:

“Pete Wicks is the professional name of Peter James Wicks, an English television personality born in Harlow, Essex, on 1 November 1988.”

Wikipedia (community-maintained biography)

“Wicks appeared in 181 episodes of TOWIE before leaving after series 29 in 2022.”

Hits Radio (UK radio broadcaster)

“Wicks is a television personality and podcast host rather than solely a TOWIE cast member.”

The Mirror (UK news outlet)

The pattern: all three sources agree on the narrow documented record; none of them confirms a relationship, a child, or a net worth.

The takeaway

The documented Pete Wicks is a reality-TV veteran, podcast host, and Strictly semi-finalist whose personal life remains largely off the record. For fans tracking him, the choice is simple: trust the sourced milestones — TOWIE’s 181 episodes, the 2024 Strictly run, Staying Relevant — and treat every personal-life headline as unverified until a named source confirms it, or keep guessing, which is exactly how the rumour file grows.
