Croatia’s Adriatic coastline has a Mediterranean climate – hot, sunny summers and mild, wet winters. Inland, the continental climate brings colder winters and hotter summers, with greater temperature swings. The far south (Dubrovnik) is generally warmer than the north (Pula), and the mountains of Gorski Kotar receive significant snowfall.
